Once your braces been removed both upper andlower retainers will be placed and the retention stage of your treatment has started. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you’ve put in so far. Instructions on wearing and caring for your retainers will be given to you at the time your retainers are placed. Be sure to keep in mind that retainers are a long term commitment in order to maintain your final result.
